The Clapham Stud was established in 1978. We have had considerable success in the show ring at county level over the years.

We have continued the stud to produce good quality miniatures. Our bloodlines include Parlington, Kerswell, Barflat and Hippominimums.

We started the Bramins Stud with the aim of breeding up to height black standard Shetlands. Our foundation stock includes; Hose, Wells, Lakehead, Transy and Millhouse bloodlines.

We have three stallions at stud.

Chip is our home bred 32" stallion by “Parlington Hercules”(3691). He is beautifully bred and has many old bloodlines in his make-up.
He is a consistent winner up to county level. He has sired many quality miniature ponies of various colours.
He is true to type with a super head, fantastic movement, good bone and a wealth of mane and tail.

This beautiful pure black, 39" pony is the result of some of the best Shetland breeding. He is true to type with a wealth of mane and tail and a stunning head.
He has flowing movement and a good temperament. Although still young he has already proved himself in the show ring with accolades at last years breed show.

This stunning 39" stallion has loads of bone and a wealth of mane and tail. He has a lovely dished head and fantastic paces. Is beautifully bred, based on Wells bloodlines. He has a great temperament and loads of presence.
